9/11 Commemoration Held - September 11, 2015
The council hosted several events in commemoration of 9/11 at St. Isaac Jogues Church. Eucharistic Adoration began on September 10, continuing to 8 AM on September 11, when first responders were hosted as special guests at Mass. Attendees then convened in the Prayer Garden for a bell ringing ceremony in memory of fallen firefighters, and the playing of Taps. A reception with light refreshments concluded the events, with parishioners and council members having an opportunity to personally thank first responders for their selfless service to the community.


Cookout Hosted at VA Hospital
- August 8, 2015
Veterans and staff at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Coatesville PA were treated to a summer cookout by the council at noon on Saturday, August 8. Council members ran the grills and provided table service for the veterans, serving 80 hotdogs and 62 hamburgers. Several side dishes and a dessert were also provided by council volunteers. Thanks go to Bill Ristey for organizing this service project.


Coffee Hosted by Council
- April 26, 2015 
The council hosted a Parish Coffee after the 10:30 AM Mass on Sunday morning, April 26. A nice selection of refreshments were enjoyed by the numerous parishioners in attendence. Thanks to all council members who helped make this parish fellowship activity a success.

Parish Yard Work
- April 25, 2015 

Several council members worked in conjunction with the Boy Scouts to do yard work at St. Isaac Jogues Parish on Saturday morning, April 25. Efforts were concentrated on the Prayer Garden and surrounding area, where yard debris was collected. Thanks go to all who participated.

Knight of the Year Award
- February 7, 2015 

The recipient of the 2014 Knight of the Year Award is Joe Powers. Grand Knight Ed Sweeney presented the award at the council's annual potluck dinner. Joe was recognized for his regular participation in multiple council projects over several years, such as the crab cake fundraisers. Joe was also praised for his enthusiastic participation and input at council meetings. Joe expressed his appreciation to the council for this honor, and noted how the council serves as an extended family for council members and their families.

Potluck Dinner Hosted by Council
- February 7, 2015

Members of the council and their families enjoyed a potluck dinner in St. Isaac Jogues Parish Hall on Saturday evening, February 7, after the 5pm Mass. A delicious array of entrees, side dishes and desserts was enjoyed by attendees. Special guests included Past Grand Knight Joe Monte, who performed a music selection from his charitable project CD "In Remembrance". Current Grand Knight Ed Sweeney served as master of ceremonies for the evening.
