Breakfast with Santa Holiday Event  - December 14, 2013
The council hosted Breakfast with Santa in conjunction with St. Isaac Jogues Parish on Saturday morning, December 14th. Attendees enjoyed a catered breakfast with an assortment of food choices. Santa arrived shortly afterward, accompanied by Fr. Moerman. Children had the opportunity to visit individually with Santa and share their gift wishes. Arts and crafts were also enjoyed by children. 

Parish Coffee Hosted at St. Isaac Jogues Parish
 - October 6, 2013

The council hosted a coffee social after the 10:30 AM Mass at St. Isaac Jogues Parish on Sunday, October 6. A wide variety of foods, including pastries, cakes and fruit were enjoyed by attendees. Council members also visited with parishioners and tended the tables at this hospitality event.   

9/11 Commemoration Held
- September 12, 2013

The council hosted a Mass for peace and in commemoration of 9/11 at St. Isaac Jogues Church on Wednesday morning, September 11. Local first responders were invited as honored guests, and provided a color guard. Mass was followed by a candlelit procession to the parish chapel, where a 24 hour Eucharistic adoration was attended by members of the Knights of Columbus, parishioners, and guests. 

Parish Yard Work Project
- August 3, 2013

A team of 9 council members worked on the grounds of St. Isaac Jogues Parish on Saturday morning, August 3, trimming the hedge along Walker Road and creating a mulch bed around the main parish sign on Valley Forge Road. The team worked from 8:30 AM until noon, accomplishing some significant refreshing of the parish landscape.

Veterans Hosted at Cookout
- July 20, 2013

Another successful cookout was hosted by the council at the Veterans Administration facilities in Coatesville on Saturday, July 20th. Due to the hot weather, grilled foods were served in an air conditioned area of the facilities. Twelve members of the council and their family members participated in this very well received service program. Special thanks go to Bill Ristey and Frank Yanni for organizing the cookout.


Altar Servers Recognition
- April 28, 2013

The council hosted a special parish coffee in appreciation of the altar servers of St. Isaac Jogues Parish after the 10:30 AM Mass on Sunday, April 28. Award folders were given to the altar servers which contained personalized service award certificates and movie ticket gifts. A wide variety of pastries, fruit, and a cake decorated for the occasion were enjoyed by attendees. Special thanks goes to Mike Harkness for organizing the event.

Support for St. Malachy School
- April 17, 2013

As part of its charitable service program for youth, families and the community, the council made a donation of $300 to St. Malachy School via the school's Adopt-a-Student Program. The program helps to offset the cost of tuition for students at the North Philadelphia school.

Knight of the Year Award
- March 9, 2013 

The recipient of the 2012 Knight of the Year Award is Paul Fisher. Deputy Grand Knight Bill Ristey presented Paul with the award at the council's annual potluck dinner. Paul was recognized in particular for a special service project to the council, parish, and community in the form of presentations and an informational website on St. Therese of the Child Jesus. Paul was also recognized for his regular participation in council activities over several years.

Support for Local Seminarian - March 9, 2013
In continuation of its seminarian support program, the council welcomed seminarian Daniel Arechabala to its Potluck Dinner on March 9. A contribution of $500 was given to Mr. Arechabala by the council to help with his expenses. Mr. Arechabala gave a brief update on his studies and answered questions from the attendees.

Potluck Dinner Hosted by Council - March 9, 2013
Members of the council and their families enjoyed a potluck dinner in the Parish Hall on Saturday evening, March 9, after the 5pm Mass. A wide variety of appetizers, entrees, side dishes and desserts were enjoyed by attendees. Fr. Stephen Moerman, pastor of St. Isaac Jogues Parish, offered a prayer before dinner. Deputy Grand Knight Bill Ristey served as master of ceremonies for the presentations, which included a presentation of financial support to a local seminarian, as well as the Knight of the Year Award presentation. 

Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby
- March 2, 2013

The council assisted with concession stand services at the Pinewood Derby held by Cub Scout Pack 81 at St. Isaac Jogues Parish Hall. Volunteers included John Corr, Anthony Perretta, Joe Powers, Bill Ristey, Ed Toney and Tony Trongone. Special thanks goes to Bill Ristey, pictured, for organizing the council's help with this event.
