Council Members Work on Habitat for Humanity Project
- Dec 11, 2010 

Six members of the council worked on a Habitat for Humanity project in Coatesville on Saturday, December 11. Activity focused on constructing the roof of a new home. Volunteers noted their satisfaction with the progress they made despite the cold weather. Special recognition goes to Bill Ristey for organizing this activity. 

St. Isaac's Hayride Party Hosted By Council
- Nov. 13, 2010 

Parishioners and other guests and their families joined in the festivities at St. Isaac's Hayride Party held Sat. evening, Nov. 13 in the Parish Hall and adjoining grounds. Activities included hayrides around the neighborhood, roasting marshmallows around a campfire, and various games for children. Attendees also enjoyed hot dogs, chili, s'mores and other tasty cuisine. Special recognition goes to Joe Monte for organizing this event.

Council Assists with Special Olympics
- November 6, 2010

The council assisted for the 5th consecutive year with the annual Special Olympics held at Villanova University. Council members served attendees breakfast and lunch at the south cafeteria. Pictured are Len Trainor, Tony Cucchi and Mike Harkness working at the grilled foods station. Special thanks goes to Bill Ristey and John Manza for organizing this project.



Men's Night of Reflection - September 23, 2010  

St. Isaac Jogues Parish Hall was the venue for a Men's Night of Reflection hosted by the council on Thursday evening, Sept. 23, 2010. The evening featured three speakers covering the topic of fostering one's spiritual growth in a challenging world. Pictured are (l-r): Fr. Steven Harris - pastor of St. Isaac Jogues Parish, Don Saleski - Philadelphia Flyers great, and Eustace Mita - Catholic businessman.


Veterans Hosted at Cookout - July 24, 2010
Another successful cookout was hosted by the council at the Veterans Administration facilities in Coatesville on Saturday, July 24th. With the 100 degree weather outside, food service was provided in an air conditioned area of the facilities. Veterans and their guests noted what a great time they had. Grand Knight Joe Monte commented that this is one of the most satisfying events the council does. Special recognition goes to Bill Ristey for organizing the cookout.
